Welcome to my practice

You are here because you are ready for a shift in your life. So, I welcome you to my practice, where healing and growth begin. We understand that life's challenges can sometimes become overwhelming, and seeking support is a courageous step toward achieving balance and well-being.

Supporting people in their healing process is my true calling. A true calling is a career or walk of life that a person feels compelled or meant to do, and I do thrive in using my life experience, education and training to contribute to the healing and transformation of others.

I am a Mexican-Canadian human impacted by various types of trauma. My personal history inform my deep understanding of the interconnections of gender, ethnicity, violence, trauma and mental health, and impact how I support others in their healing. Working towards social justice is a core value for me.

I would be honoured to support you as we walk through the difficult stuff. I am dedicated to providing a safe and compassionate space to explore your thoughts and emotions, gain valuable insights, and develop the tools needed to navigate life's complexities. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, or facing relationship issues, I am here to support you on your journey to personal growth and emotional healing. My practice is a space where together, we'll find a reconnection to your inner resilience and potential for positive change. We'll collaborate to create a life that resonates with your deepest hopes, free of limiting self-doubt.

Loving Presence Counselling, Nurturing Transformation

Embodied Healing

The human experience involves continuous challenges... and our childhood and family transgenerational history are present in our bodies.

Our bodies hold narratives that may manifest as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression or behaviours that impact our sense of self and our relationships. Perhaps you may want to explore life transitions like grief, or intimate relationships. Or you want to reconnect with your ancestry and identify life-long patterns of behaviour going back through generations.

I use an intuitive client-centered, resource-oriented and non-pathologizing approach following the clients' emotional, cognitive and somatic cues. I believe that the client is their own best expert, and given a safe and supportive environment, will intuitively find their way to their own inner resources.

I work in both Spanish and English and use a body-centered approach to the resolution of trauma supported by research, and art expression as vehicles for transformation. My clients experience our work as a powerful, yet gentle process in which they find it easier to engage in deep explorations.

Start the journey today towards an integrated, grounded sense of self. Let's reclaim your strengths and resilience. Gracias!
